This is a home page site. Here all types of cancer research can be done by physicians and patients on all types of cancers. There are 70 types of cancers which are researchable here. The combo box for many selections responds quickly.

General Breast Cancer Information

This site seems the most overwhelming site pertaining to breast cancer. It contains links to organizations, diagnosing, treatment, coping and more. It also has statistics and seems to be updated on a regular basis.
• Cancer Information, Research, and Treatment
This is a very informative site for those just learning about breast cancer. It talks about the disease and treatments in easy to understand terms. However, I did find that it was lacking in hormonal therapy recent information.

Organizations and Foundations

• Breast Cancer Treatment
This site is a non-profit site dedicated to providing information to the patient and family members. It has chat rooms with forums and also 24 hr chat.

• Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization
This site is geared for patients and family. This site has listings of future 1-hour teleconferences which would be interesting to attend. The explanations are brief but need more links for more explanations.

• Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
This is a foundation whose main goal is raising money for breast cancer research. It is in Spanish also. Not as much information on the site but a necessary site.
• Breast Cancer ADVISORS
This site was developed by doctors to help patients with questions which might come up at home. It has many q/a sites for talking to the doctor. It also has much information and links to hormonal theropy which I am interested in.

Estrogen and Breast Cancer

This is a very informative site about estrogen as it links to breast cancer. It contains terms that are explained well. It does give some reasoning behind the theory and it also gives some suggestions for better health.

Arimidex

• Breast Diseases - Oncologic
This site gives some of the side effects of using the drugs. It tells how much to take, its name in physicians terms, and has other links about breast cancer. I also found out about the cost of the drug.
• Buy Arimidex Canada On-line
An interesting site to find the cost of the drug in Canada. It was just over $172. for 30 capsules. They advertise this as being 50 percent off. I still don’t trust an on-line pharmacy.
